Talk to Your Pipeline from Claude Desktop

Business

RadiusOS connects to Claude Desktop (and other AI assistants) so you can manage your contacts, quotes, invoices, and schedule just by typing what you want in plain English. No switching tabs, no clicking through menus.

What this actually does

Imagine you're in Claude Desktop writing an email, and you think: "Wait, did I send that quote to Sarah yet?" Instead of opening RadiusOS in a browser, finding Sarah, and checking her quote history — you just type:

"Did I send the quote to Sarah Chen?"

Claude looks it up in your RadiusOS workspace and tells you: "You created QUO-012 for Sarah Chen on April 15. Status: Draft. It hasn't been sent yet. Want me to send it?"

That's what the AI assistant connection does. It lets Claude (or Cursor, or Windsurf, or any compatible assistant) reach into your RadiusOS workspace and do things on your behalf — search contacts, create quotes, send invoices, check your schedule, and more.

You don't need to memorize commands or learn a special syntax. Just type what you'd normally say to an assistant: "Show me what's overdue", "Create a quote for...", "Who haven't I followed up with this week?"

What you can ask it to do

Your AI assistant has access to 34 different actions (we call them "tools") across your workspace. You don't need to know them — just describe what you want. But here's the full list grouped by category so you know what's possible:

CategoryWhat you can do
Pipeline & Contacts (8)Search contacts, view details, create/update contacts, move through stages, bulk update, dashboard summary
Tasks & Notes (4)Create tasks with due dates, mark tasks complete, log notes on contacts, search notes by meaning
Email (2)Send emails via Gmail, view email history per contact
AI Intelligence (3)Explain deal scores, suggest next actions, semantic search across notes and emails
Scheduling (3)Book appointments/showings/service calls, list events, reschedule or cancel
Quoting (4)Create quotes with line items, list quotes, send quotes via email, update status
Invoicing (4)Create invoices, list with payment tracking, send via email, record payments
Price Book (2)Browse and add standard items with preset pricing
Workspace (4)View pipeline setup, list automations, start/pause email sequences

Which tools are available depends on your workspace template. A Sales Pipeline has contacts, tasks, and email. A Field Service template adds scheduling, quoting, invoicing, and a price book. Your assistant automatically knows what's available.

Requirements

You need three things:

1. **A RadiusOS account on Business or Team** — Free and Pro plans don't include AI assistant access

2. **An API key** — this is a secret password that lets your assistant connect to your specific workspace

3. **An AI assistant that supports MCP** — Claude Desktop, Cursor, and Windsurf all work

MCP stands for "Model Context Protocol" — it's just the industry standard for connecting AI assistants to business tools. You don't need to understand the protocol to use it. Think of it like Bluetooth: you don't need to know how Bluetooth works to connect your headphones.

How to connect (step by step)

1

Get your API key

In RadiusOS, go to Settings → AI Assistant Connection. Click "Create Connection Key" and give it a name like "Claude Desktop". Copy the key — it's only shown once, so save it somewhere safe.

2

Open Claude Desktop settings

In Claude Desktop, open Settings (the gear icon). Find the MCP Servers section.

3

Add RadiusOS as a server

Click Add and enter: Server URL: https://www.radiusos.ai/api/mcp Authentication: Bearer token Token: paste the API key you copied That's it — three fields.

4

Restart and test

Restart Claude Desktop. You should see RadiusOS in the connected tools list. Type "Show me my pipeline summary" to make sure it's working.

Using Cursor or Windsurf instead? Same setup — just find the MCP server settings in your app and add the same URL and API key.

Troubleshooting

"Invalid API key"

The most common issue. Your key may have been copied incorrectly (make sure you got the whole thing — it's long). Or it may have been deleted. Go to Settings → AI Assistant Connection and create a new key.

"MCP access requires Business or Team"

AI assistant access is only available on Business ($39/mo) and Team ($69/mo) plans. You can upgrade at Settings → Billing.

Claude doesn't seem to know about RadiusOS

Restart Claude Desktop after adding the server config. New MCP servers aren't loaded until you restart.

Connection timeout

Make sure the server URL is exactly `https://www.radiusos.ai/api/mcp` — no extra spaces, no trailing slash.
