Choosing a Template
Templates configure RadiusOS for a specific workflow - they define pipeline stages, field labels, the vocabulary used throughout your workspace, and which modules are enabled (scheduling, quoting, invoicing). Choose the one closest to your use case; you can customize from there.
What a template controls
Every template sets the following for your workspace:
- Pipeline stages - the steps in your workflow (e.g. Lead → Proposal → Closed, or Inquiry → Scheduled → Invoiced)
- Record label - what individual items are called. "Deal" for sales, "Job" for field service, "Application" for job seekers, "Listing" for real estate.
- Contact label - what the people you track are called. "Contact" for sales, "Customer" for field service, "Employer" for job search, "Client" for creative work.
- Modules enabled - some templates activate extra modules like Scheduling, Quoting, or Invoicing that aren't shown in simpler templates.
- Custom fields - pre-populated field sets relevant to the industry (e.g. property type for real estate, job type for field service)
